Budweiser Flash Fans - a unique approach to Super Bowl advertising

I know it's been more than a month since the broadcast of the Super Bowl but every time I shake that tree, all sorts of interesting stuff comes tumbling down which I didn't see in the first place.
This great piece from Budweiser was actually a stunt which was carefully filmed and edited before being flighted in lieu of a 30' TVC during the Canadian broadcast of the Super Bowl.  It certainly has shades of Gatorade's Replay concept in which alumni from iconic and memorable high school matches get to return and have another crack at the opposition.
It's also a bit of a twist on the Flash Mobs craze which began a couple of years back.
