Ronaldinho gets the boot from Coke

Brazilian international Ronaldinho stunned Coke chiefs this week by  sipping on a Pepsi at a press conference.  It would have been OK but for the fact that the buck-toothed star had a $750 000 endorsement deal with Coke!   The result?  His contract with Coke was summarily cancelled.  Says Marcelo Pontes of Coca Cola marketing:  "We have been watching his antics for some time - the fact that the player has appeared with a can of Pepsi was the straw that broke the camel’s back.  The sponsorship had become embarrassing."
